 Abledata Toll-Free Hotline

The toll-free hotline provides general information to consumers about the rights of air travelers with disabilities, responds to requests for printed consumer information, and assists air travelers with time-sensitive disability-related issues that need to be addressed in "real time." The line is staffed from 7am-11pm Eastern time, seven days a week. Air travelers who experience disability-related air travel service problems may call the hotline to obtain assistance. Air travelers who would like DOT to investigate a complaint about a disability issue must submit their complaint in writing or via e-mail.

Project MEND is non profit organization located in San Antonio, TX who believes mobility and independence are basic human rights, we empower individuals to become active members of their communities through the reuse of medical equipment. We are licensed by the state to refurbish and sanitize medical equipment donations. We provide those who are low income with durable medical equipment such as wheelchairs, hospital beds, commodes, power chairs and much more! Also depending on funding availability we can assist people with the purchase of on assistive technology piece such as prosthetic limbs, diabetic shoes, cranial helmets, and much more!

Restoring Mobility provides durable mobility equipment and associated products from Austin to south Bexar County, and from Boerne to Gonzales and the areas in between. They sell, service, and rent reclining lift chairs, manual and power wheelchairs, scooters, vehicle lifts, patient lifts, pool lifts, hospital beds, walkers and rollators, all types of permanent and portable ramps, bath aids and a variety of safety accessories.
