By pressing the panic button on the medical alarm pendant or the medical alarm bracelet, a wireless signal is sent to your medical alarm console which opens a toll-free two-way communication with the Acadian Medical Alarm Monitoring Center. Acadian staffs its monitoring centers with medically trained personnel that are available to assist you 24 hours a day, seven days a week. If you are injured, ill, or in some type of emergency situation, simply tell the emergency alarm system dispatcher and assistance from your local emergency agencies, nearby friend, neighbor, or family members will be sent to you within seconds.

Provides companionship, meal preparation, transportation to doctor appointments or other commitments, light housekeeping, personal care such as dressing, bathing and mobility for seniors or others in need. In-home respite. Personal emergency response systems are also available.

Provides a range of services that helps seniors to live in their home for as long as it’s practical. Community Services Coordinator can help determine what services and resources they can provide that will help you live safely and comfortably. Some of the help provided includes: 1) Emergency Response Systems, 2) Medical Equipment Lending, 3) Reassurance Calls, and 4) Handyman Services.

Emergency Response Systems.

(1) Summon Help: When you need, just press your Personal Help Button, which activates the CarePartner Communicator. (2) Professional Intervention: Your CarePartner Communicator then dials the Lifeline Response Center and establishes 2-way voice communication. (3) Personal Response: Quickly, a Lifeline Response Associate accesses your profile and assesses the situation. (4) Closed Loop: The Associate then contacts a neighbor, loved one or emergency services, based on your specific need. Lifeline Response Associate will follow up to ensure that help arrived. Also have new phone with a 6-message reminder feature.
