 Atascosa Family Crisis Center

A safe place for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. 24-hour crisis hotline, transportation, meals and emergency fund, legal and personal advocacy; offers licensed peer and group support counseling (with childcare provided), safety planning, transportation, food, and emergency shelter. Everything is held confidential. Provides counseling and other non-resident service for any victim of family / dating violence, sexual assault and/or stalking.

1) Counseling for mental health concerns, cognitive problems, substance abuse, grief and loss, domestic violence, etc. Counseling available in-office or in-home. 2) Nurturing Program: in-home parenting curriculum: 24 weeks, at no cost.  ChildSafe

ChildSafe is a Child Advocacy Center, the only one in Bexar County that provides specialized services to children that have abused, neglected or sexually abused. Provides a safe, child friendly environment where law enforcement, child protective services, prosecution, and medical and mental health professionals can share information and coordinate strategies sensitive to the needs of each unique case and child. Multi-disciplinary team (MDT), Family Support Specialists, Counselors, Therapists, and several programs which link families with community-based programs designed to strengthen family relationships and support the healthy, emotional, and physical development of children.

 Community Counseling Service of Our Lady of the Lake (OLLU)

Offers counseling services on a walk-in basis between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. No appointment is necessary. A training facility for master and doctorate level students supervised by psychologist who perform counseling services: marriage and family, individual, biofeedback, anger management, family, abuse and violence.
