 Inman Christian Center

Neighborhood-based community center offering childcare for infants, preschool, and school age children. Inman provides emergency food assistance for those in need through its food pantry. Inman seeks to serve the needs of the very low-income children and families who live near the Center and around the Westside of San Antonio. Childcare Program: serves low-income families with comprehensive childcare services. Fees are assessed on a sliding scale or families are referred through the CCS programs of the Texas Workforce Commission, the School Districts serving teen parents, the Community College District, and the San Antonio Housing Authority. Serves ages 8 weeks - 11 years. Summer Enrichment and Recreation Program: 10 weeks summer program, Serving children in the zip code 78207 and some surrounding areas, ages 6-13. Affordable Housing: Six apartment complexes in San Antonio serve low-income elderly adults and adults who are disabled or are recovering mentally ill residents. Social Services: Information and referral are offered as well as infant supplies for residents in the 78207 neighborhood surrounding the agency. Inman’s Counseling Center offers pro-bono support groups and individual/family counseling to those without insurance.

 Respite Care of San Antonio

Respite Care is a series of services and programs administered by professionally trained caregivers in multiple locations throughout San Antonio. Programs are for the child with special needs, as well as siblings. These include a full-service child daycare, Mother's Day & Family Day Out programs, and Parents Night Out programs. "A Special Time a Special Place" allows family members to bring their child/loved one with a disability and his/her siblings to the school building at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. For children from six weeks to six years of age.
