Non-profit which help individuals and families by offering Christian counseling for $20.00 per session. Counselors are Masters-level students that provide quality counseling blending professional clinical skill and biblical truth. Also provides counseling at CAM (Christian Assistance Ministries) at the same affordable rates.

Full hospice services, including: Physician Services Medical director makes home visits as needed; Nurse Practitioner make home visits; Registered Nurses make frequent scheduled visits to assess patient’s condition and make modifications as needed - Licensed Vocation Nurses make regular scheduled visits to assist with a wide variety of needs, Licensed Social Workers coordinate benefits, explore conflict resolution when necessary, investigate potential resources and services. Licensed Professional Counselors available to help address a wide variety of issues that commonly arise when a life limiting illness is identified, such as grief, bereavement, acceptance, conflict resolution, caregiver exhaustion, emotional strain, depression. Chaplains address spiritual issues. Dieticians, Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapists, and other services available.

Hospice focuses on caring, not curing and in most cases care is provided in the patient’s home. Care is covered under Medicare, Medicaid, most private insurance plans, HMOs, and other managed care organizations. A family member serves as the primary caregiver and, when appropriate, helps make decisions for the terminally ill individual. Members of the hospice staff make regular visits to assess the patient and provide additional care or other services. Services provided : Manages the patient’s pain and symptoms; assists the patient with the emotional and psychosocial and spiritual aspects of dying; provides needed drugs, medical supplies, and equipment; coaches the family on how to care for the patient; delivers special services like speech and physical therapy when needed; makes short-term inpatient care available when pain or symptoms become too difficult to manage at home, or the caregiver needs respite time; and provides bereavement care and counseling to surviving family and friends.

Counseling services provided to individuals, couples, children, adolescents, family and group. Ages served: 7-99 Ms. Gleason maintains several specialty areas such as forensics. She is recognized as a Diplomat Clinical Forensic Counselor, providing court testimony and has served as an expert/ treatment witness in many court cases. In addition, Ms. Gleason utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy, with a psycho-educational approach for treatment of various issues including substance abuse and addiction counseling. Topics such as the disease concept, adult children of alcoholics, denial, family roles, codependency and recovery are taught. Additional issues addressed relate to Anxiety, Relationship, Communication, Grief and Loss, Stress, Trauma, Behavior, PTSD and Depression.

Provides assistance to persons with severe and chronic or terminal disability or disease who do not qualify for government assistance for whatever reason. Provides assistance for: medical co-pays, medical treatments, prescriptions, physician visits, medical equipment, medical supplies, home nursing care, home sitters, transportation, medical insurance premiums, rental assistance, utilities, deposits refundable to WeAreAlive, local phone, food, linens, clothing, personal care items, cable TV if bed ridden, microwaves if not capable of conventional cooking, travel to bring loved ones together, etc. provides assistance in directing its recipients to finding additional types of assistance that may be available for them from government agencies and other charities. Also assists recipients to find a social worker in the event they do not have one.
