The Hispanic Contractors Association (HCA) was organized to promote and support the educational advancement and growth of the Small, Minority, Women Owned contracting community. We are committed to developing educational and training programs and facilitate resources needed to help our members reach their highest potential. The Hispanic Contractors Association (HCA) is dedicated to the furtherance of educational opportunities for those who are interested in pursuing an education in the construction trades profession at any college of the Alamo Colleges.

 San Antonio OASIS (OASIS at Morningside)

OASIS is a non-profit organization offering challenging programs in the arts, humanities, health, technology & volunteer service for people 50 years of age & older. * Handyman Program: minor home repair for cost of supplies only. OASIS volunteers provide the labor. * Also provides physical fitness classes. OASIS Intergenerational Tutoring Program offers a 12-hour training session for volunteers. Once trained, volunteers meet one-on-one with a child in grades 1, 2 & 3 in 44 Northside I.S.D. and 10 San Antonio I.S.D. elementary schools to read, write and improve communication skills. * OASIS has 4 outreach locations: Copeland Activity Center, Elvira Cisneros Senior Community Center, & Northeast/District 10 Senior Center, & Baptist Health System Healthlink.

Hours: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 9am-4pm, Tuesday 9am-8pm, Friday 9am-1pm

 San Antonio College (SAC) / Continuing Education Department

Offers instructional programs in vocational-technical topics including electronics, and computer information systems. Other services include entrepreneurship training, business consultation, employee assessment, and contract training. Also offers programs in marketing and distribution, management, health careers, office education and training, emergency medical technician, quality management, restaurant, insurance, real estate, law enforcement, maintenance, health, nursing, food service, computers, and teacher certification.

 San Antonio College (SAC) / Senior Citizens Admission

Senior citizens who will be age 65 by the census date of the term may enroll in course offerings at SAC in two different categories at a reduced cost. Senior Citizen waiver & audits do not apply to Continuing Education courses. Either for college credit or for auditing, the senior must complete an "Apply Texas" application. Apply in person at the Admissions Center, SAC main campus. Normal tuition is waived, but student is responsible for associated fees. Limit of 6 credit hours.
