Additional services: ELDER-PROOF YOUR HOME: Just as you would child-proof a home to make it safe for a child from injury, Angels will "elder-proof" your home to protect against injury or accidental poison. Thorough review of all aspects of your living environment - floors, bathrooms, kitchen, alarms, furniture placement, doorways, storage areas. Widen doorways for wheelchairs, install grab bars/smoke detectors, non-slip floor coatings, etc. MOVE YOUR LOVED ONE: Disposal of items you no longer need can be emotional, and even physically impossible. Let Angels take care of the details. Assistance in sorting through possessions, arranging for their disposal or delivery, etc. HANDLE THE ESTATE: If family members live out of state, or are unavailable, Angels can handle estate disposal and other needed arrangements.

1) In Home Personal Care: Helps seniors and adults with disabilities remain independent at home and avoid untimely institutionalization. Targets disabled persons ages 18-59, or seniors aged 60 and older, who neither qualify for public assistance nor can afford private care. Up to 10 hrs. a week of in-home service for personal care and home assistance, including: Information and Referral, Meal planning and preparation, light housekeeping, errands, assistance with the daily activities associated with living at home such as bathing, dressing and grooming. 2) Care Planning: Elder Care Resource and Referral Service provides consultation and referral for seniors and their families who need a caring voice on the other end of the telephone to assist in seeking out supportive resources on elder care and aging issues. Our consultants are compassionate and have the time to listen to the specifics associated with your special situation, and are knowledgeable about resources to help you. Follow up contact is scheduled, if needed, and additional resources are researched and mailed to the home of the client as requested. The Family Service Resource and Referral consultants assist seniors and/or their families in understanding questions, answers, options, support alternatives, and provide important connections with a wide array of services through Family Service programs and/or other community resources. Family Service provides an array of supportive services to help meet the needs of seniors in the community to remain independent for as long as possible. Sometimes just having someone to talk to who is supportive and who understands what questions to ask-- is what seniors appreciate the most, while seeking resources to meet the care needs and concerns at home.

Griswold Home Care provides personal care, homemaking, and companionship services to seniors and persons with disabilities.

Personal Care: Bathing, Dressing, Feeding, Grooming, Routine hair and skin care, Preparing meals, Exercising , Helping with self-administered medication, Toileting, Transferring/ambulating. Chaperone Services: Our attendants will accompany clients on trips to obtain medical diagnosis, treatment, or both. This service does not include direct transportation of the client by the attendant. Home Management: assistance with housekeeping and shopping.

Home health services (personal care attendant), meal preparation, grocery shopping, escort to medical appointments, etc. Community care services may be provided through: Primary Home Care (PHC) Community Based Alternatives (CBA) Family Care (FC) Area Agency on Aging (AAA) Client Managed Personal Assistant Services (CMPAS) Veteran’s Administration (VA) Also: pediatric and skilled nursing, to Medicaid and/or Medicare eligible patients. Provides hospice services through its partnership with CIMA Hospice.

Northeast Senior Assistance (NESA) volunteers provide transportation for seniors, age 60 & above, in private autos for medical, dental, or vision appointments. Three weeks prior notice required. Cannot do wheelchairs. Telephone reassurance is also available. Offers grocery shopping service for clients. This is the only errand running or shopping assistance offered by NESA. A volunteer is assigned 1 or 2 clients to contact on a weekly basis & take the grocery order. The volunteer picks up & delivers the groceries to the clients home. Clients are responsible for payment of groceries. There is no charge for the delivery.

We provide Personal Assistance services to include, but not limited to: Assistance with daily activities (ADLs) such as providing meal preparations, helping a person get dressed/personal hygiene, bathing, cleaning of the home, grocery shopping, medication reminders, transportation, and many other that can be discussed in more details. We are a private pay, non-medical personal assistance company providing Caregivers and Certified Nurse Assistance (CNA). We have no minimum of hours to providing care.
