 Fredericksburg Food Pantry

Provides groceries and clothing for the needy, low income, seniors on fixed incomes, and transients. Considers special diets. Also assists in the event of tragedy, such as fire, hurricane, etc. Funded entirely by donations; receives no government funding. Interdenominational Christian organization.

 Hill Country Daily Bread Ministries

Grocery Box Program: Twice a month (every other Thursday) approximately $100-125 worth of canned food, bread, dessert, non-perishables, dairy, diapers and produce are delivered to hundreds of families and individuals in need by church partner family mentors from outreach programs. Hill Country Silver Crown Program: The elderly and disabled are provided with Depends, wipes, and other personal hygiene products to assist them in maintaining good health.

 San Antonio Food Bank (SAFB) / The Kitchen Table

Created in order to provide a variety of services in one place for those suffering from hunger or lack of nutrition. It is a group of organizations, programs and clients living and sharing one common interest: to fight hunger. Programs & Services: Client Choice Pantry, Nutrition Education, Benefit Assistance, Children’s Programs, Financial Literacy, Senior Programs, Family Dining. A program of the San Antonio Food Bank (SAFB): is supported and structured under its leadership. The effort is funded through a grant by the McKenna Foundation and through the San Antonio Food Bank.
